Details for your team

First-harvest Kyoto matcha, ordered in 1 kg units. Each unit contains 10 sealed 100 g pouches. A full 2 kg case contains 20 pouches. Built for cafe, dessert and hospitality programs pouring matcha every week.

Made by Kyoeiseicha Co., Ltd., whose Morihan tea business traces its roots to Uji Ogura in 1836. The manufacturer documents first-flush tea at the raw-material level, with both harvest and processing in Kyoto Prefecture.

What it costs you per drink

A 2 kg case pours roughly 1,000 servings at 2 g, or about 665 at a 3 g latte dose. At $275/kg, that puts the matcha itself at roughly $0.55 to $0.83 per drink before milk, labour and cup. Run your own dose against your recipe before you commit — we would rather you check the number than take ours.

Case format
  • Case: 20 × 100 g pouches, 2 kg net
  • Pouch: aluminium-laminated flat bag
  • Ingredient: green tea. Nothing else.
  • Origin: Product of Japan
How it's made

Blended, sterilized, ground, sieved, X-ray checked, and packed.

Manufacturer specification
  • Moisture: less than 5%
  • Aerobic plate count: less than 3,000 CFU/g

These are the manufacturer's specification limits, not test results for an individual lot. Trade accounts can request lot documentation before committing to a first order.

Storage and handling

Store cool and dry, away from strong odours and direct sunlight. Open one pouch at a time and use shortly after opening. 12 months unopened shelf life from production, at ambient temperature.

What we don't claim

We name what is documented and stop there. The exact grower, farm, cultivar, field and harvest year are still being traced, so we don't invent an estate story. This tea is not sold as ceremonial grade, single-origin, stone-ground, or organic. If a supplier tells you all four about a tea at this price, ask to see the paperwork.
